We’re excited to announce that Rumble will be a film competition award sponsor for the 2019 Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival, this October 26th-November 3rd in Banff, Alberta!
If you haven’t heard of it, the Banff festival is a world-class film and book festival celebrating mountain sport, culture, and adventure. It features “stories of remote journeys, ground-breaking expeditions, and cutting-edge adventures told through the eyes of adventurers, authors, photographers, and filmmakers from around the globe.”
The films featured are inspiring and awe-inducing, with stories about free climbers, kite-assisted snowboarders, arctic expeditions, and the limits of human endurance, just to name a few.
Our mission at Rumble has always been to #feedthegood, and a big part of this is our belief in the power of outdoor recreation, and the value of our natural surroundings. We’re stoked to be a part of such an incredible festival that celebrates the relationship between mountains and the people who are drawn to them.
This year, Rumble will be presenting the award for Best Mountain Sports Film. We’ll also be rocking a booth at the Mountain Marketplace, and popping up all over Banff with free samples and drinks!
For those who can’t make the journey to Banff for this epic festival, don’t worry - it’s coming to you! The Banff Centre Mountain Film and Book Festival World Tour kicks off in November, with shorts from the award-winning films scheduled to show in communities all over Canada, North America, and elsewhere.
