Rumble Overnight Oats: Protein-Packed Breakfast in a Flash

Weekday breakfasts should be quick, easy, and nourishing. That’s why we love overnight oats: a 5-minute, make-ahead meal that’s ready to go when you wake-up. Traditional overnight oats are made with only a few ingredients: rolled oats, milk (or other liquid), and fruit or nut toppings. You mix it all up in a jar, seal it, and store it in the fridge overnight until it’s time for breakfast.

To add an additional punch of protein, fibre, and fat, try Rumble Overnight Oats! By substituting half a Rumble Supershake for the milk, you get a tasty, satisfying, and protein-packed breakfast, ready in a flash.

Rumble Overnight Oats

Ingredients:

½ carton of Rumble

â…” cup of rolled oats (not instant or quick-cook oats)

1 tablespoon of nut butter (optional)

Frozen or fresh fruit (optional)

Chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

Mix the Rumble and oats in a jar or container with a lid. If adding frozen fruit, now’s the time to layer it on top. Seal and store in the fridge overnight.

Toppings:

This is the fun part! We love adding freshly sliced banana to Dutch Cocoa Overnight Oats, and stone fruit or berries to Vanilla Maple oats. Chopped walnuts or pecans and sliced apple and would also pair well with Vanilla Maple.

For a creamier, richer texture and taste, try adding a tablespoon of nut butter. To add nut butter, mix it first with a splash or two of Rumble, then add the remaining Rumble and oats before storing in the fridge overnight.
