Born in Toronto, and raised in Victoria I began playing my sport at the age of 10 as an activity to do with my sister. Nineteen years later Iām lucky to still be playing my sport, competing at the highest level, and giving back to the volleyball community as both a mentor and a coach.
In 2013 I graduated from the University of British Columbia as the University athlete of the year and 2 time volleyball MVP. Aft er 3 years of playing the indoor game professionally overseas in Germany and France I suffered a 2 year setback that sidelined me for the 2016 & 2017 seasons. I successfully underwent shoulder surgery and recovery just to tear my ACL upon returning to spor t requiring yet another surgery and another year of rehab. Since then I have switched to the beach volleyball game competing internationally for Canada, and recently finished my 2019 season as a Canadian National Champion. In 2020 Iām striving for more res ults on the FIVB World Tour, and hope to find myself at the 2020 or 2024 Olympic Games!
